Don't be too afraid of aluminum they do take some good abuse especially if the tire overhangs them. We're not easy on things and have had both with little problems. Usually by the time you screw up a wheel bad there's other damage that renders the machine useless.That's why I'm staying with my steel wheels and want spares. Just need to have a second set with different tires.
