I'm kind of thinking a guy could build it into the rear ramp have an interior flip down to protect it while loading and unloading then you can close the door put the tent out Wallah!!

I was looking into that for the bus years back. There is enough room in the van but would need to find it complete used as they are brutal piece by piece. If you ever see one please holler!
We are looking at extend a rooms once we get the door in

Clutch Baskets first “major” problem.
On the way home the alt light came on and shortly after I noticed it running just a little warm. It was at 210 when I got home but usually runs solid around 195.
Noticed water coming out of the water pump hose and shut her down. The belt for the alternator/fan is the bad one in pic and it was loose as hell. I’m sure it stretched and warmed up after no fan enough to kill the water pump hose and loose water.

Everything looks stock down to the hose clamps so more then likely these are 30years old and sat for 17. I’ll be 20$ in this fix. Never stranded me though it’s home and we’ve done 2300 miles since purchasing of which 250 were dirt road so I’m very happy. Quick fix!

You didn’t learn your lesson on 17 year old rubber on your first trip? In the words of a once famous philosopher “come on goober”

I did I’m just not a pre maintenance type of guy. That’s why I own Honda’s Cummins and Jap rigs...come on you know me.
Seriously though ya I knew I just can only do a few things at once. I’ll get fuel, oil and air filter while I’m at it I think this ol girl deserves some more love:) Radiator hose looks good but I’ll replace that and fuel lines next spring.

You wouldn’t see everything totally stock under the hood of too many 30yo rigs with over 250k. Plenty happy!
Just giving you a hard time, we have to get together, our stomaches will be sore for a week after from laughing! And I've got to meet the famous Sam. I'm kinda scared of her!
