Big mistake on the toy hauler door purchase. Was so excited that we found one close that we pulled the trigger immediately.
@tmjm76691 had called while there about condition and materials but I guess I was hoping for more substance, I didn’t take into account age and it being a very cheaply manufactured part with crap materials.
He’s had to replace 1/3 of the structure and everything else is trash. Should’ve started from scratch but you live and learn, luckily it wasn’t an expensive mistake.

Yesterday I went home and hit the sack early, still not feeling great. Need to grind crap off the back of the van to test fit. I do have plan for skin and everything but it might be a min. Im waiting on the hinges off that wrecked door locally still hoping for that.

It’ll be damn nice cooking lunch in 100 deg temps!
Wanted the ramp door first but it’s going to cost some coin and time to finish.This was already on the way when I thought the door was totally reusable once cut but aa you know it was so rough. This took an hour and a half to install.
Don’t worry that’s next weeks project! I’ll look harder at the materials you suggested.
Still do not have interior lighting so this is the first official light on the Clutch Basket
Love this awning height, even @100Acre may not skin his head

Thank you my friend. It’s still pretty crude and there’s a lot to go but after the ramp door is finished all the big items are done, it’s becoming more user friendly. Now to use it
