That is the best. I grew up fishing with my dad and grandpa on a pier just like that. In his golden years he would drive his truck right beside the pier and get out and get in his chair, throw his line out and fall asleep! Not only will you remember this, but the great grand kids will too.

Not many kids nowadays have a great grandfather around.

I had to have the guy that enlarged mine come fix a leak today. It's great enjoyment for kids. I love having kids come out fishing. One of my wife's best friend's kids had never caught a fish. They came out and caught some catfish and bluegill in quick succession. Their mom said they are forever spoiled now and are asking to come back. They also love taking the kayaks out on the pond.

My son and fish out of kayaks quite a bit. If I would have had one in high school I wouldn’t have graduated.

We just finished cutting trees around our small pond to make it bigger. It worries me I might be messing with something that isn’t broke. Excavator will be here middle of August hopefully.
