Can't no one say y'all don't ride hard. Y'all give it hell just about every weekend.

What's crazy is the fact you say the intake doesn't show much sign of water?! Where did it come from?

Oh crap again, that oil doesn't look good.

What do you hear when you turn the key. Does it clunk like the starter engages but just can't turn the motor?

You could remove the cover plate and turn the motor by hand and get a definite answer if it's locked or not.

Man! I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope this ends better.

Won't turn over empty of fluid. It's off to the ""professionals" I guess. It'll be down awhile in there hands
I'll try it thanks Joey!

I wish I could help more. On the P700 I could tell you the location of the cover and socket sizes needed. I'm not experienced enough on the P1000 yet.

I could check the shop manual tomorrow if that helps.

Hopefully it will need just rods and pistons and not much else.

Want a snorkel kit like I got? I'll donate the parts to help shine a little light when you get back up and going. For some reason I bought two couplers, I've got several more feet of pipe and I can get the snorkel top.

Well it was a good weekend anyway. Sucks about this but there's always setbacks. s***ty thing is the Polaris died as well its been going through quart of oil a day valves tightened up this weekend and it was thier last adjust. It needs new top end. Holy crap. Good weekend till now I'll post some of the pics. Hopefully everyone else is good this weekend it was a big one. Get your pics up.

Keep us posted, I'll be checking this in the morning for sure.

Sorry to hear about your water issue in oil. Hope its nothing serious. Personally always avoid rushing thru deep water, even in car always slow down crossing puddles. The water splashing up can cause engine problems etc. May the force be with you and an easy fix.

I took intakes off and didn't see water but filtered water would be hard to see. I actually couldn't get air box off up here to see inside because I didn't have anything long enough to get that deep on the front seat side of the air box so I'll keep posted when I get home.
Let us know what the dealer says.

To get that much water in the oil it had to come into the crank case vent. I'm just not sure where exactly the vent is on these.

Do a real good clean up so they will have a fairly clean engine to work on. After washing it I use a brush and WD40 to get a clean engine. It looks like the water got in through the crank case vent. Not much water in AZ and the dust rinses off easy, the cow pies not so easy. Looks like you guys spend a lot of time cleaning up your rides. On the Polaris, when the intake valves tighten up it is usually from some dust getting around the air filter. I had a rzr 570 and 900 plus a Ranger 900. All needed an improved intake so I snorkeled them all up under the roof for a clean air intake. Also the belt drive intake too. I got 8,354 miles on my first belt on the RZR 900. Sold it with 11,000 miles and the engine was still in good condition and the valves were still in spec. Good luck with the fix and hopefully its something simple.

What's weird is the water wasn't deep enough that we were worried. If you stop in the middle it would barely get your feet wet

There are some low life's out there for sure. My shop got robbed a couple years ago.

I guess there's no chance of finding the thief up there?

Nope. Had we found him there'd be extra crow food. Normally that's not a thing up where we are the few that come up we know very well however it's one of the big weekends and you get all the one time a year campers and kids that don't respect anything. You should have seen the garbage! Pisses me off
