Went through puddle it quit immediately. Won't turn over. Ideas that hopefully say locked Starter drains massive juice

Or that.. Let's hope not!If it won't turn over you may have a broken piston jamming the engine up tight. If the hood went under water at high rpm I would remove the air filter and see if its wet. It may be ok to turn the engine back a bit. Is there water in the oil. The engine should turn over with the plugs out.
I guess going to do an oil change.Little water in oil will not stop from cranking. A lot will.
If the seat was under you have pumped lots of water into the tank.

That's my plan it needs new oil now anyway not going to lie I'm fairly nervous as a don't think warrentee will cover but one thing at a time. Thank youI would drain the oil and refill it up all the way. If it won't turn over either way you may need to pull the top end off. I have seen the flywheel key shear when an engine get water at a rpm of about 3,000 but the engine will usually turn over with the spark plugs out. You may have a broken balancer chain locking the engine but it should turn over the other way if its not jammed too much.
If you hear the starter engauging and it won't turn over with plugs out something is jammed in engine. If starter doesn't engage it's electricalThat's my plan it needs new oil now anyway not going to lie I'm fairly nervous as a don't think warrentee will cover but one thing at a time. Thank you
