Yeah an added bonus. I don't think these were around when I was in the market. Nice looking product. In the end, confidence is what you're buying. So if you're confident in the set you have, it was money well spent.

I like those too.. seem like they would offer a little more resistance to dent with the raised portions.

I like the way these are set up. Hybrid aluminum an uhmw. I plan on buying the floor pans so I can still use the skids I built.

This was my thought with the steel belly or aluminum if needed. Be very easy to add after the fact and you could use thin material.

I had contemplated using road signs as floorboard protection. I haven't ruled it out yet. But after running the bull my outside bars took a beating... something heavier my be better.

I bought the rival. I really like them. haven't tested them yet but the footwells are protected and that's great for me and my kids. for the erratic log that can come through .

I don't know if they have it on the 1000, but looking at the SSS skid plates there is a version for the 700 with rocker guards to help protect from this.

You sure you didn't take a picture of mine? Looks just like it, maybe a little worse on the passenger side. Skids are a must before April takeover.

Mine sticks out little over half way. They could still be damaged, but it'd have to be from an angle.
