P1000 What pressure washer are you guys using?

I agree with JTW and going electric as gas powered tools wear out.
I have a eat eater that is just as bad ass or better than my old stihl gas eater.

Once I had the 40v battery, I bought a 19 inch mower for around the pool and it mows the heavy grass too. Hard to believe, it feels like a Barbie mower but it works great.

They have limits but the electric tools are better than just 3 or 4 years ago.

For the electric ones, does it have a means to drain for freeze protection in winter months? Been looking at those for a second unit down at the barn. Thanks.

The easiest way would be the aerosol anti freeze can they sell for them. Make sure you drain the high pressure hose and gun, or hold it open and send the entire can through the system. Easier without the small tip in wand.

I use a 3100 psi pressure washer. I bought one of these for 13 bucks off Amazon that allows me to adjust the pressure. It works pretty well. It allows me to turn down the pressure when I’m cleaning inside the wheels, around hoses, the seat, or on decals, but I can still give her hell everywhere else.

I have a Mi-T-M with a Chinese Honda clone. My two small engine shops I use say the Chinese clones are good to go now a days.

The pump on pressure washers is the weak point, and generally not the motor. Make sure to look for one with the triplex pump with mostly brass components.

If you don't want to or can't spend the money on the better pump, buy by price and treat it like a disposable product and plan to replace it every 4 or 5 years.

Storage after use, clearing water from the pump, especially during the winter greatly effects longevity.

I think I bought my Mi-T-M on clearance on Amazon for around $300. I think it was about half off.

I've got aTroy Bilt 2700 psi, 2.3 gpm with a Briggs And Stratton 175 cc engine. I normally use a lower pressure nozzle unless the mud is really bad. I then use the higher, narrow angle nozzle but am very careful as to where I point it. It's down right now as the unloader has gone bad and Briggs and Stratton wants 90 bucks for a new one. Looking for a aftermarket unloader and I'm not sure what to order. I don't think I would buy another unit this big for the sxs as I have found the water hose does about as good for normal cleaning.

I've got a simpson 3200 with a axial cam pump and kohler engine. Great washer and small. I just back up from sensitive areas to reduce pressure. Really want an electric with diesel heater. Talking about cleaning machines!

I got a 5.5 GPM @ 5,000 PSI washer with a twin cylinder Honda on it to wash the barn down between groups this fall it will be ten years old and it starts and work's flawlessly, gallons per minutes is the way to go, with a gas motor you just idle it back to reduce the pressure and still keep the volume to clean with.
I got it from Water Cannon they where easy to deal with and seemed now washer's.
