What is your tow vehicle?

I still have a 38ft 3 axle enclosed car trailer I pulled with the dually. We also have a 24 foot gooseneck horse trailer. The half ton will pull the horse trailer, the wife also uses it to haul Christmas trees in December, but the car trailer weighs a little over 9000 lbs. empty so we are going to sell it.

I hauled a 67 Dodge Coronet and a golf cart. It might haul 2 if they were real short.

Volkswagon Touareg - 6 x 12 enclosed trailer - great gas mileage, about 10 -13 mpg towing, mid to upper 20's empty. Best to run in manual mode since the 8 speed auto likes to hunt gears. Can run 70 - 80 mph loaded usually running between 5th and 7th gear. Tow rating is better than my old Suburban, and the Touareg is way more comfortable.

Right. 2017 towing specs - Suburban 6000 - 6300 Lbs - Tourareg 7716 - Go figure. Specs were similar back when I got rid of the Burb.

Is yours the tdi? I had an Audi Q7 tdi and that was an impressive ride. Switched out for a BMW X5 diesel since there wasn’t a local dealer for Support in NWA.

No, I have the V-6 gas - would have gotten an oil burner if I could have found a CPO when I got this one. Especially bad when we visited my sister-in-law in NW Iowa - Premium gas is almost non-existent there, plenty of diesel, regular and 3 flavors of corn E- 15%, 50% and 85%
