I went on a club trail work day/trail ride yesterday in the Vermont mountains. My first time using my new machine on the trails. Before now it's just been around my property or while ice fishing. It was definitely a learning experience. My P700 performed great but as everyone says, shocks and ground clearance improvements would go a long way to a better ride.

I'll post a link to a video in a couple of days.

Steve.

Well here is what I did today to Moe (p700). Swapped the Commander shocks for some Elka that a friend was selling cheap. He was trading is in. I gave him my stock shocks to put on his. Also added strong made lift. Next was RB3 grab bar and door bushings. My take on the Commander shocks verse the elka (stage 1 with rebound). Shows just how good the commander shock upgrade really is. Especially not having to buy a lift. If you are looking to do a shock upgrade and can find the commander shocks do it if you dont want to spend 1500 --2500. Dont get me wrong the elka are nice I just would not spend the difference for the performance difference which really is very little. Of course my commander shocks only had 50 total hrs on them.

Good day to split would I thought...so I did with my little Pioneer friend. My little friend hauled my trailer and splitter to a downed large ol elm tree in my woods, but let me do all the sawing and splitting. We split about 1/2 a cord worth then he helped haul it to another site to let me stack it to dry for next winters heat. It was a lot of work but we had fun and such a nice day to do it.

With the longer days I am riding almost every evening after work now. I live in farm country so there's lots of photo ops for me :)

Pulled my hardtop for summer and added a canvas top by Shybull. Very good money spent.

By accident I found a bluetooth speaker that fits perfectly behind my head and doent move an inch. Sounds great too.

Last couple of rides.

Evening ride yesterday resulted in the usual clear mind and also in what I thought was another great pic of the machine I've come to love. Glad I gave it a bath too :p

Yep, those are the exact bulbs I used. I haven't ridden with them at night yet.
