I have did something a little different, I set my winch up to attach in front and rear with a hitch. It is a 3500 lb winch, do you think that would be to much for the rear hitch?

From pulling? No. From the weight of the winch? No. But if you drug it dropping off a berm...
I'd take it off when not using it.

I’m not sure it is 100% necessary for me to beef up the hitch, but for under $16, a little time, and some welding, I can have peace of mind.. I will be pulling a trailer some, and no telling what else. We have a pretty good chunk of land and there is always work to be done.

I beefed my hitch up. Was never hard on it but I could see the welds were starting to crack. I don't know why Honda doesn't weld the underside at the factory.

lol we ride with our 50 pound springer between us, my wife always complains about the dogs tail poking her in the ribs. We bought a 700-4 just so the dogs had a roof over their heads also and complete enclosed cab so they would be warm in the colder months. Since we had to put one of the 2 that we had down the remaining dog wants to ride up front, its not the most comfortable way to go but we put up with it.

Today I put on a bullet aluminum exhaust tip with Locktite high temp blue thread sealant, took off the low hanging Denali plow mount, installed LED headlight bulbs and slapped on the Vermont ATV Sportsman's Association (VASA) trail stickers front and rear. I also recently joined the West Rutland ATV Sportsman's Association (WRASA). I'm looking forward to doing some club rides once the trails open up.
