Had another hectic day of additions. I will need some good time to go thru my build thread at some point and update it. I feel bad because thru these recent projects I haven't been able take take it slow and get pictures thru the process. I will have to walk back thru it at some point. Everything has been so hectic. I added a hi lift jack, shovel, and axe to the rear on the ROPS. I also added a bungee net to maybe hold some stuff near the roof. I also did the Honda vinyl in the front. I am not very good at it so it didn't turn out perfect but from 10ft away it looks good. The shovel is held up using kolpin mounts, the jack is held using a jeep hi lift mount, and the axe is tucked into the side roof area with a bolt in the hole of the handle to keep it there for now.

Center of pic shows a Powerlet style (also called BMW plug) with waterproof cap for both charging battery without need to remove hood, and for powering things like an air compressor etc. This type of plug is very reliable.

This location for the dual volt meter (came with True battery charging system) faces driver and nothing to remove to reach the back side for mounting and wiring. To the left and below voltmeter is a small rocker switch to disconnect/connect the wireless winch control receiver. It otherwise would be functional all the time (not key on/off) - some have reported uncommanded operation of their wireless winch receiver, probably due to RFI - so the switch is good insurance to prevent damage.

From bottom of pic to top: Just above "tool box" is the wireless receiver for winch (most of wiring goes to winch reversing solenoid just above. Next above is True UTV dual battery charging system. Upper left is accessory fuse/wiring box that comes with 1000 SE. I relocated this to above the AUX battery which is secured by quick clamp strap (strap is hot melt glued to compartment sidewalls, there a dense foam pad between battery and fuse box to maintain tension. On the SE, they don't leave you a lot of room to add stuff. Still waiting delivery is a smaller buss/fuse box (the one I had is stock is a bit too big to fit).

That's it for now, though there'll be more to come.

I've been laid up. Got surgery for a torn bicep a couple weeks ago. I've been going stir crazy with a pile of parts waiting for me. I could not take it anymore and installed the goodies this week (not easy with a bad wing). First up was the 14" radiator fan overhead for cooling the most important sxs accessory (the one who paid for it), next was the wiring headache. Dual battery set-up, fuse block, ground buss, stinger to run fuse block and switch panel. Needed more room to mount all the electric stuff so I removed the intake cover and installed a hose on it. Lastly was the SATV 6000# black ops winch. Long week of modifications Gimping along but now it's DONE. Took it for a ride today fan worked nicely. Oh ya, don't have a pic right now, but I made a couple of temporary 2" bars to see how much air I would get by tipping the Honda oem glass windshield out. Made a ton of difference. Will post pics when I get the final draft done.

What year is your machine? I have a 21 and did not plan on going back to the Dealer for regular maintenance. But, if there are issues that need to be looked at such as what is on your list, maybe I should take it in before warranty is over.
It's a 2020. Back to the dealer was not in my plan either but after about 200 miles this weekend they seem to have done there job without any issues.

I gave mine a hug and a kiss because it's safe in the garage.

Grown men and women across the country are mourning the tragedy in Mexico.
Whole lotta back-ordered Can Am's burned in the warehouse fire.

Maybe a little peck and a pat or two, that'd be okay. A big wet slobbery kiss is just plain perverted and doesn't belong in polite conversation.

I mounted some led lights on the rear of the ROPS. I haven't wired them yet. I didn't want to screw them so I used hose clamps to hold them on. They seem sturdy where they are at and shouldn't get bumped by any trees.

I also hose clamped my aomais go speakers to the ROPS. They seem like they will stay up there pretty good.

I checked all of my lift bolts to make sure they were tight. I wanted to point out the spacers I have on the front are true 1" and just barely stick out. My aftermarket wheels tho clear the studs just fine.

Instead of hose clamps you can use the Honda quick clamps for a more factory look. They are relatively inexpensive. 😉
