P1000m5 What did you add to/do with your Pioneer 1000 5 today?

been busy with the Talon have neglected the P1K5. So i needed a new second battery. The ole Odyssey took a crap. It was time for a new primary so I did that too. Changed the two separate volt meters and did a single dual with one relay.

Did you use mighty maxes for both batteries? Part numbers would be great. And that horn had me do a double take!

The main battery is a EverStart from Wally World. I bought it cuz it was in stock. Keep in mind there are only 3or4 battery manufactures. my shop handles Interstate and that looked like there casing. It was about $80. Its the only one wally world lists only one for the Pioneer.
the MM battery I found on Amazon.
paid $68 for that one. Had to wait little over a week to show up.

That horn is one of my staples.
Its an air horn and very loud. Dont ask where i got it, its been in there about 4 yrs and I can't remember 🤣 when it hits you know its me and it sounds like an Elk through the woods😂 I wanted some dixie air horns but Ive run out of places to put things so them babys aint goin in and they aint goin on the roof to be ripped off in the woods
Just noticed i have a stripped bolt on the air filter housing terrible design and the last time i had it off I put some anti seize and oil in there. So thats a project for another day!

Mine is a 17 and i have the same problems. I should've tore it down when it was new and anti-seized everything.....

Yeah the 17’s had a fair amount of stuff us 16’s Have. We were like the Guinea pigs for the currants 😂

Used the rear winch to load my trailer. Couldn't pass up a good market place find for the week. 2 more Snap-on Wheeltronics 6k lifts. They cleaned up pretty nice but I didn't grab any photos without the dirt and grime. Not as nice as the one I had but definitely ready to do work

I was originally tempted to keep one for my other garage but I dont have power out there, yet. I use the one I bought about 4 years ago on a weekly basis.

Reworked my front turn light configuration in anticipation of a TTC bumper. Added RAD Customs Blinky things along with lights I used previous. Before and after below. Also added Honda front fender extensions.

You are correct. Check out crossroads 3D. They have 2 different types. One is more of a straight wall I think and this is the tapered one that fits yetis.
