Drought broken. Widespread heavy rain. Im at 4" so far. Some areas not far away are around 13". River went from not getting your ankle wet to a torrent in no time flat.

Went and looked at the pond. Maybe 6" gained. No water in the ditch feeding it. None in the creek. We didnt get runoff from our 4" of rain.
Seems kind of not possible way past few months have went this year. But, we do have a decent cold front on the way. Wonder if it is going towards @Caper ?
Oh you know it will. More rain. Great. I guess better than snow already. There's about 4 or 5 inches in Calgary and southern Alberta

We have a high of 36 coming Sunday. Its going to be 76 today.
This river was 6" deep yesterday morning. By noon it was 15' deep, and is projected to hit 22.5' which is 6" above flood stage.

Tuesday & Wednesday 18*, 28* today starting out in the mornings. Got me one of them there fours going tonight. Nothing like wood heat to warm the bones.
