My buddy in Alberta went for a walk around his farm last Thursday and heard a branch snap and when he looked back, there was a 4 or 5 year old Grizzly standing about 50' from them watching them.
Now I hope it gets a little cold before the end of the month .

We had absolutely beautiful fall weather yesterday. It was especially gorgeous for the annual haunted house this evening. Forecast shows potentially a couple inches of rain this week. We need it. Caney KS went to reduced school hours trying to make their supply last as long as possible.
No lack of rain up here. Rained all day Saturday and going to rain Sunday and Monday. Really wet driving the bike around. The atv looks good for a 2001.And colors are pretty nice

Caney Kansas brings back old memories. Way back in the first millennium when I was a senior in High School in far northeast Oklahoma, the drinking age was 21. You could buy beer in Kansas at 18. Caney had the closest store right across the southern Kansas/northern Oklahoma border. We filled enough orders to pay for our gas and most of our beer. Been warm and windy today. They are working a fire in the north part of the county. Sounds like its 800 acres or so.
Can't believe you are so dry and we are so wet. Usually we get everything you guys get, not this year.

Time get going. Going up to 84 today. Feel like a cool summer day. Hope everybody has a good day.
Send some of that up. It was 30 degrees overnight. Going to 65. My daughter scrapped frost this morning.

We made it to 88 today. Same tomorrow. Low 80's this weekend then 57 for high Monday and a cool front.
