Wow. We just hit 50 degrees. Fog and rain, but 50 degrees. Haha

That’s awesome. Gotta love a big block. Almost unlimited. Haha. When I was 16 I had no fear. My wife hears stories of before we met and wonders how I’m still alive. Haha. Not time yet. All the crazy s*** I’ve done in vehicles , I’ll probably be killed by something stupid like a tree falling on me. Haha. I raced a few big blocks in my Chevelle. The Chevelle had a327, 300hp, turbo400,411s, 12 bolt rear end. And airbags in the rear. Very hard to catch off the start. A 396 nova as came up on me late one night at lights on the start of the Bedford hway. I left him but he eventually got me. A396. Haha. We stopped and he couldn’t believe it was a 327. Haha. Lots of good stories in the Chevelle. She’d almost take the wheels off the ground. I wish I still had it.

If I had just a few of the rigs that I had when I was younger!!!! My wife once accused me of changing cars more frequently than I changed my underwear. My favorite, through all of the 55 Chevy's, 60's Chevy's, 60's Barracudas, 60's Chevelle's, 70's GTO's, 70's Chevy's and on and on and on, was 1, of my 3 '65 GTO's. It had been built just a little bit and after driving to the track, swapping tires and opening the headers, it would consistently run in the low 12's. Today that isn't much but in those days, that was screaming. It would lift the front tires when I hit second gear. Put a real smile on my face!

I love that. A buddy of mine I worked with had a Judge. I pulled up beside him in the Chevelle a few times, but he would never go. Haha. Scared. Haha. We had a police strike in the 80’s , it only lasted a week or something, but a good time to own the Chevelle. The cops had a bonfire in the middle of a big intersection by the station, as I was sitting there a cop stuck his head in the window and said Go nuts. I laughed and said yeah and get a ticket tomorrow. He said his name and said I didn’t have to worry. Haha. Put her in first, nailed her and did donuts around the fire with hundreds of people going nuts. Haha. A crazy night. Haha

It could be worse. My daughter in Cold Lake has a temperature of -36 again today. Holy crap that’s cold. Hopefully you guys in the mid west don’t get that.

Cold today. Drove in at 2deg. Surprised how well the diesel fired up. I hate I don’t wake up much earlier then I need to leave, it’s always fire up and go. Sucks to drive in that way
