Got up this morning and its -27° and -55° windchill. Beautiful day in the neighborhood.
get my tires black fri sales at bjs club or tires direct. got the ko2s for my ava 1k for 17in wheels and tires they had a rebate and I sold my 20s for 300. I have tried goodyear and all the others and they are the best you can buy for ice and roads and pulling trailers down farm lanes in the mud. I had the bfg m/t on my old jeep and they were a close second not as good on ice but you could go across the field pushing snow over the hood if you wanted. full size suvs are the best you actually have proper weight balance so you can turn and stop with out the butt trying to pass me like all the pickups ive hadReally, well maybe not. I paid $1,400 for 17’s and they are 10 ply. So $1,400 Canadian is like $800 American. Haha

Yeah the FJ had Goodyear Duratracks. Almost a MT. Big lugs. Crazy in the snow. I love the TA’s now. We’re supposed to get a bit of freezing rain today so I gotta get the dog out for his walk. Yeah. I’m going outside to put a fire on soon. And it’s 32 degrees here. Thanks, plan on staying in garage putzing most of the day.
Yeah it’s all 1/2 or 3/4 inch cast. If I close it down she’ll burn for hours. No insulation in my garage so it works great keeping it around 70 degrees. Just started it. She’ll be going all day. Is hardwood expensive in NY. Around $250 a cord in Halifax but in Cape Breton I can get two for $350. Split. My buddy in Calgary pays $600 for a cord of softwood.had good years on our plows they did good but only lasted maybe half the time before they wear out and are a bit noisier than the ko. even on work trucks the ko2s last 75 to 100k and are almost as quiet in the summer as pass car tires.
pretty sweet stove did a lot of research here lately people like those for there build quality. I had an old Canadian furnace down stairs and upstairs a 50 dollar tsc junk(took it out to the garage to clean it and I could lift it myself) the furnace was splitting so I ended up getting Englander 4000 from HD(1500) and 2400 Madison from lowes for mild days upstairs. most of the other ones are twice that, I have an old open house that's about 3500sq and the 2400 heats everything in a few hrs if its 40+ then I load it and let it die the thermal mass of 600+stove keeps it 60s till next day. only use the one down stairs less than 20s it kind of hungry. but haven't done anything but ropes and the stove I use nov to mar most every day. for a few years. and the only one that can even set in the room its in after a couple hrs is my hot house plant daughter

The cost for firewood to me is cut, block, split and stack. Making more pasture for cattle at the same time.Yeah it’s all 1/2 or 3/4 inch cast. If I close it down she’ll burn for hours. Haha, yeah I always did my own from my land in Cape Breton but I’m getting too old for that. Haha. I still have to stack it. I love wood heat. The cost for firewood to me is cut, block, split and stack. Making more pasture for cattle at the same time.

We had about 4 inches of wet snow this morning and now it’s pouring rain, I just got out the Ariens 11 1/2 hp. No problem. Got the fire on to dry everything out. My H H is soaked but I’m dry. I hate days like this . Either rain or snow. Not both.Yeah we’ve been here many times but it doesn’t make it any easier! I have mods to complete and new ones to install
