Thanks. I use the pioneer around the house a lot so I get a lot of use out of the lights at night. Did you start out with 275 front and 300 rear? Too bad I can't drive a few different pioneers with different shock set ups
I started with the stock deluxe shocks. They held the machine off of the ground and allowed some movement. Then I installed 814’s which came with 350# front and 400# rears. With the 814’s I got an inch and a half more clearance and no more bottoming out, but I felt they were still too stiff. I ordered the 300# springs from Summit racing and when they arrived, I installed them on the front and then put the original 350#’s that came with the 814’s and put them on the rear. I’ve maintained the original ride height that I got when installing the 814 shocks. 18” center to center on the shock mounting bolts with the machine sitting on a level surface. If I remember correctly, the new springs were $74 each from Summit. They also had some 275# springs which I may still try at a later date. I’m satisfied with the ride for now.

Yea, they've had my rear shocks for weeks. I told them to just wait until the fronts arrive before shipping anything. That way, if it takes too long, I can cancel the entire order without a restocking fee.

I hope they don't take too long. Have you tried to find the front shocks in stock anywhere else?

They actually told me where there were (supposedly) 10 sets of fronts in stock, but the price would have been higher.

Changed the springs on the rear shocks today. Tried using a spring compression tool but the ratchet strap method worked better for me. The black is definitely better looking than the red springs. Waiting on the front shocks to come in still. Then gonna order some a arms.

When I installed the 814’s the supplied springs were 350# front and 400# rears. Too stiff!

Added a light bar today. 21" from tractor supply. Been thinking all week how I could mount it to the front bumper but have the bottom of it be at the top of the grill. Bought 3 different style mounts to try but the light was about 2" too long to make it work. Ended up with it on the bottom of the windshield

Update from Allen @ Ron Ayers:

Somewhat I have been talking to a parts analyst at Honda and Fox is telling them that the backorder will be filled by March 16. I don’t know how much I trust that as Fox has missed the last to dates that orders should have shipped to Honda,.
