dude that sucks. Hope all works out. Broken rib and punctured lung sucks especially at same time. Been there done that. Keep a pillow close in case you have to cough

Don't forget to cough regularly and take deep breaths; none of that guppy s*** unless you want pneumonia along with it. Hug a pillow if you have to)

After my slip-and-fall toward the end of the ride Friday, I decided to get checked out.
Still at the ER, but I seem to have broken a rib. 😄

Chest tube is one of the most barbaric things they can do to you. Not fun when they pull it out either

Not sure it was actively bleeding when I presented. It had been nearly 48 hrs.
I believe their concern was that I might do something to make it worse, maybe.

They took an xray at 3:30am... no word on that
