P5 don't need it. Everyone else, probably. Either that or their overlanding setup and a cell connection.

The P5s chugged right along, just fine.
Many of the water holes were so thoroughly frozen that we all rode right over them.

A beautiful day, stunning scenery, great people; really a terrific ride. Happy that several could make it, we missed those that couldn't.
@JenElio, y'all would have liked it I think.

I guess I missed the story. I remember seeing it but never asked. I just figured you had duct tape on it so you wouldn't lose it lol
Ugghhh… 🤦🏼‍♀️… the real blonde in me came out. Got to Futz yesterday.. late of course.. Took off the gas caps on our buggies to top them off and I forgot to put them back on. @futzin ‘s survived the ride tucked in by his seat belt reel, mine did not make the journey.

@Coeus noticed it and was able to fashion me a temporary one of his duct tape. Saved my day.

Good thing you didn't flop before he noticed 😂

@futzin how did the Taloneer do?

Man, that thing feels like a by-gawd actual trail machine now (absent any power of course). Feels good on-road too, much less body roll since the repair. The ride quality is excellent. We rode up to Trump Rock across a rock garden; those are pretty much miserable in a P5. Felt great. I had @KyGal83 drive it out from there, and she drove it a fair amount. She had good things to say as well.

Definitely need to address the throwing mud issue, if I can. But even if not, IT'S WORTH IT!!
I pretty much had a sh't-eating grin on my face most of the day. We didn't hit too much technical stuff, but the T5 tackled it with no drama. Went down rocky trail 26 and up 27 (a few semi-challenging spots) very well. We also went down the black trail (6, I think) where it had met its final doom and had to be towed out. Some small redemption, piece of cake.

KyGal had one of the best moments of the day (I missed @TripleB's antics at the 27 trail turn) when she had a "hold my beer" moment at a rock ledge on the way up. No video, but it was ballsy.

The T5 is going to be a blast to run. A great balance of challenge, capability and comfort.

THANK YOU!!!

If any other P5 Posse Peasant People are considering the long travel kit, I now definitely recommend it, IF you reinforce the front A-arm mounts. Free trial runs in mine are available to anyone who buys @906UP beers! :D
