Ok, well I’m no wiring genius and no diagram in the box, but my switch has 4 colors and my KFI factory switch has 3. Red green and black. The after market switch with blue, what does that go too?

There are more than a few variations of switches, but many of the ones used in our sxs are 7 pin double pole double throw with illumination. If you search for number of pins (X) it would be <X pin rocker switch> and you'll find examples.

Ok, kinda confused here. I just put power to my switch and hooked it all up to test. When I hook the regular colors on it just makes the click noise in the relay. But when I touch a wire from batter to blue and green it moves the winch when it should be off. But when I push the switch to the on it then turns the winch off.

Yeah that looks like the right one next question I have. Is why does this switch trip the relay, but no winch movement, and the factory one works fine?

I am hoping someone else will chime in and answer.
But my theory is this, and something for you to try.
Your original switch has 3 wires. hot in and a hot out depending on switch position.
That tells me your original contactor has its own ground.
New switch hot and ground in.
Depending on switch position, you have hot out AND ground out.
.
A test, unhook the ground from the switch and see if it works properly.
.
Have a good day

ok, here is an update. I talked to Chad on the phone.
.
ADMIN, can you please ban him.
.
The guy doesn't have a test light or multimeter.....WTF... HAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!!!
Just messing with ya Chad. haha!
.
Think we narrowed it down to a possible bad switch, or Chad going to buy a test light.
One of the 2.....hahahaha
.
Nice talking with you. The kids in the background bring back fond memories.
Seems like just yesterday, my son was in an incubator at Nuremburg, Germany.
Today, he has been out of college for over 4 years.
Enjoy the time with them, tomorrow they will be gone.
.
Have a good day

Thanks mark for the call!! So I did some more testing to see if it’s switch or me or whatever after stopping for a bit and grab some food and going back through a pic I missed on the wiring of the switch, I bought a pack of different ones and didn’t see this one till later. So here’s my question, and pics to show, the KFI winch has factory switch has a green, red, and black. Somehow green does in and out?? 🤔 but the new switch green is in and blue is out. But I get all things working now but blue. So I switch some things up, checked connections, and the switch works. It will trip the relay, but not work the winch. Then I did a direct line to the relay blue line, turned it on, it does some sparks and after a few mins of just playing around the red power cable got real hot and had some smoke coming from it. It was a temp cable while testing, but for the life of me can’t figure out this blue. Don’t think it’s compatible with the KFI. Does anyone have a KFI and a pic of how they did theirs? Thanks.

Guess worst case I’ll just have a winch in while in the cab and winch out with the remote if I really need it. But would like to wire it likes it’s supposed to be.

Your original switch, the black wire is not ground, the green wire is not ground.
In this diagram, there is no ground, only hot from the ignition, red.

Green and Black just happen to be the color chosen to transmit the power/hot from the switch to the contactor.

When you push winch in
- green wire is hot
- blue wire is ground
When you push winch out
- green wire is ground
- blue wire is hot

If the winch switch works opposite, switch the blue and green around.
If the contactor only buzzes or clicks, try unhooking the NEG/black wire going into the switch. If the contactor still buzzes, low voltage or bad switch.
.
A multimeter would tell you exactly what voltage was coming out of the blue and green wire. ;) 👍 haha!
.
Have a good day

Researched the KFI contactor.. It is common and does not require a reversing ground input.
So..
Here is your solution.
Remove this pin marked (#5), unneeded. You can move it to pin #7 and cut the extra jumper off once we verify workings.
Connect the green to the green,
and the blue to the black.
Red to red.

The above, your layout is only lit when you push the button. Kind of useless.
If you want it lit when it has power you need to wire it like this.
As said, if In/Out is reversed, just flip the green and blue wires.
