Took a trip to Yellow Stone through Bear Tooth pass in the North East conner of Yellow Stone. I really like the West, never been to Washington State, Idaho. I'm really going to try real hard to get out and ride with CP this Spring!

Yep, their first and my fourth. I like coming in from Jackson Hole and South Gate.

Well Yellowstone became a National Park before Teddy’s time, but he was certainly instrumental in the creation of others.

Our trip to the black hills was good. We were there Sept 27-30, 2018.. Stayed at Mystic Hills Hideaway and were very satisfied with the place. Unfortunately it was cold and we got 4 inches of snow the first night we were there. The snow made the hills pretty, but we were hoping for a little better weather. Oh well, we still had a good time and Mystic is a good place to get out to the trails. The cabins were okay and the food at the resort was good. I would go back again.

Nice, did you take any pictures of all that??? Also, would you mind rating the trails. Do they have good trail maps, is camping allowed along the trails. Is the staff friendly and helpful. Is there a restaurant on location?

My wife took the pictures. The trails range from very easy to challenging. The resort does Have a good map of the local trails for $20. It’s also a good idea to get the National Geographic map of the Black Hills, which does a very good job of showing all the trails in the hills. I can’t answer the question about camping along the trails. The staff was very friendly and helpful for any questions about the trails and the restaurant on site is mainly open for lunch and dinner. Good food and a bar.

Couple more questions, are the whole 500 miles of trail on state/federal land, or private. If state/federal land, was it patrolled by LEO?
