One more. Just got home. 6 hour drive each way, but worth it! Couldn’t beat the weather for February, sunny, upper 50’s, and barely any wind. We virtually had the place to ourselves. Nice thing about being retired, you see an opportunity like this, you just go!

Ok winter, I'm dun wit U, be gone. 🥶

Yesterday, not all that cold but deep enough to grab tires if I got off the tracks so I had to keep speeds down; I didn't want to get launched off the road.

Absolutely stunning day in AZ...

I can't wait to get back out there.... we're heading "westward" around the last week of March. We'll be in Maricopa again for a few days and then up to Vegas. Same trip as last year. Tickets to see the Cubs but doesn't look like that's gonna happen.

Other abandoned underground copper mines along the way and another shot of the “Tree House” posted earlier by @DG Rider. Sorry DG, the shot you posted of the mine opening earlier is an Explosives Magazine door dug into the side of the hill just above the old warehouse/parts bin building. Also found another old corral for you.

Another great ride today in the Superior, AZ area. Going down Hackberry Creek was a bit technical with all of the boulders, but the rock formations were fantastic. Later in the day crossed to the north side of U.S. 60 and rode some shelf roads with great views that the photos just don’t show the great scenery.

Mea Culpa on the mine...

Is that corral just over from the vertical shaft (heading towards the highway on the east side) in the 4th pic? It looks like the same one.

How did you like it?
