We haven't seen his photos for awhile. It should be nice and cool in the desert now.

I'm here. I've actually made several posts...just not here. I split my free day these days with mtn biking. Tentatively planning to go out Thanksgiving weekend.

Yes, that’s right. I haven’t seen any posts since he made the trek to Parsons Grove and the cliff dwellings. Hopefully he’s having a great time on vacation or something.

Wife and I did go up to a show Low a week or two back, but otherwise...just been on the bike.

I’m glad that @DG Rider was successful in getting there. I took another group to Parsons Grove last Friday and one of the guys with an older CanAm 1000 was ready to turn around and go home before we even reached the pass in Table Mountain.

That's kinda why I'm hesitant to say how hard a trail is sometimes. It rocky and rough, but completely doable...but I suspect many more casual riders wouldn't like it.

@PJon have you checked out the spot labeled "Blake Place" off a side trail on the way up? I'm curious as to what is there.

No, I haven’t checked it out and the others in our group have never mentioned anything about it. We’ve been through that area several times on what they call the Holy Joe trail and have talked about an old miner that used to hold Sunday services at the base of Holy Joe peak. Still, no mention of the Blake Place. Might be something to check out with a few riders to see if anything remains.

Well, my last trip of the year ended today. 😢

Second longest ride ever in the Talon at 140 miles (longest was 145 and it's the purple showing). Ridden CCW.

Winter's here and I'm headed back to Denver. I know it's still warm in the south but I've been running since February and ready for a bit of R&R.

I get it. Snow will be too deep soon. But I am riding tomorrow and every weekend until I can’t. Will post pics.

Take a week or two off, then head down to AZ. No snow here in the valley.

I finally got sxs out today. Wife had a surgery and daughter had 1st grandchild. BUT a trip to Ocala national Forest put a smile on my face. Here is a few pictures. First pic was last at cheap pizza place in salt springs. There is always a bear around in Ocala.

Normal temps for this time of year. It was about -5C yesterday. The ice would definitely be safe to drive across but by that time the snow will be too deep for tires.

Must have been a good day to ride Ocala National Forrest, with the rain we've had this week.

There was some shallow pools of water on the way to the yellow loop no big deal. I think with all the sugar sand the rain soaked in quickly.
