You’re kidding? You mean you called him up and his wife has Covid and he’s quarantining.....

I called and cancelled my room for this ride. I was reserved in room 11. I have 1 family member that has tested positive for COVID that I have been in contact with. I have tested negative and am fine. I am just being safe and not doing anything that could endanger others should I test positive later on. I didn’t tell the woman that I was quarantining nor did I tell her that my wife has COVID, but that’s how rumors get started etc. My mother has it.

My plan was to let everyone know next week, but since my room got already re-reserved, And questions are being asked, thought I would let everybody know now.

Thank you. It sucks because I got my shirt in and everything and it hits close to home. My mother lives down off the hill in a house on my land. She’s up here a lot. Just doing the right thing. Maybe jumping the gun, but I feel like I’m doing the right thing. Don’t want to be the reason someone gets sick even if I’m perfectly fine in this group.

Hope everything works out @LJSXS and your mother is ok. If anything changes and you can make it, holler out. Someone might have an extra bunk to share in their room. I personally ain't worried about covid. No chinese flu bug named after a s***ty mexican beer is gonna take me out.

I'm already packed and ready to roll for this ride. Well, kinda. Ok, so I have some Gentleman Jack in the freezer, but that's a good start lol. Thought about Basil Hayden, but to much rye for some folks. Pappy Van Winkle would be great, but the cheap s*** is over $100 a bottle. So Gentleman Jack it is, and at least I got that much ready. Lol
