Ride at RRB in Tennessee September 24 -26

Ridinfool Coming from Sylva go past Smokey mountain high school look for Old Cullowee Rd on the left then turn left on to Wauyhutta Rd follow to the end the road turns to gravel keep going takes you straight into the parking area

I rode there a couple of years ago in my 500. it seemed better suited for dirt bikes with all the bunny hops.

I read so much about the bighorns having problems. I’m debating getting different tires before the trip because I don’t want my trip ended early. I’ve had no problems yet but I also haven’t ridden RRB.

my biggest issues with them were weak sidewalls. I do have BH 2.0's on the 500 right now that are holding up well.

Trail 1 was actually pretty good did have bumps for water control but was a very good ride

With the way things are going, It looks like it, but I am also trying to get knee replacement surgery before the end of the year and I don't know when they'll schedule me in yet. I'd also like to have my knees done before they try to hit us with any scary mandatory vaccination laws.

I haven't committed, but I haven't ruled it out. It will be a last minute decision for me I'm sure.

I seriously doubt at this point, that I'm going to Colorado any time soon. Very sad about it, but, I just don't see it happening unless someone throws me a tasty herring...Otherwise I'm either gonna do a winter trip to Utah again or watch the wold burn instead. Wold.

Anyway, I just might pop my head in the door for a quick ride in Tennessee . Still waiting on finding out about knee replacement though too. In my best Gaelic;

As of today, 8/19 the itinerary is as follows...
Thursday 9/24 meeting at Mexican restaurant/ shell gas station around noonish 1oclock for those that are getting there early and want to get a ride in, and ride to town rock then where ever we end up after that.
Friday 9/25 meeting at the restaurant/shell and riding to the abandoned train and the prison, (the prison has a nice restaurant called the wardens table) then ride back, some folks may want to regroup later and do some night riding.
Saturday 9/26 meet at restaurant/shell and ride the royal blue trails (top of the world, water falls ect.)
I think that is how it is planned out @Backwoods @JenElio does that sound about right?
Or we can make💩 up as we go along.

We will be meeting at the Mexican restaurant/shell station around 9am don’t know how lo g the ride will be, probably all day, as far as lunch plans, we usually pack a cooler with drinks and some samiches and eat on the trail. Not really sure where we will end up on Saturday, just going to ride the royal blue side... those plans may change but I think that’s it.
