Ok thanks for the response. Question I just got done reading your thread on snorkel kits... Does that void your warranty if you modify the air intake?

I would say that it probably does but it depends on if you're dealer is going to be cool or not. If you're worried about the warranty, try using a snorkel that can be easily remove before taking your vehicle or service

My price from Mitch Gratton Southern Powersports in Chattanooga was $15,497 and less than $100 of other fees and charges. He / they were great to do business with. Locally the best price I could muster was $2,600 more and seeing that it's only 3 hours round trip, so for $866 / hour I took a drive!

That's $15497 for a P1000-5D...!? Was that your out the door price...?

So far for P1000-3 w/ EPS Non-Camo best out the door price is $15K.....that's tax, title & fees. Anyone with 3-seater receive any better...please speak up if so......

Hey guys I might be pulling the trigger on a used (200+ miles) P1000-5D and was hoping to get some points on what I should check when I go take a look...?

For example, Check oil (for water intrusion), tranny/clutches, etc.

Any help will be much appreciated. BTW, has ext. warranty so some peace will come with purchase
