Here is a satellite view I marked up the Comfort Inn is lower center the purple or blue rooftop leaving the motel on your SXS go right past the PILOT station under I-75 and right in front of you is a SHELL station, turn left on the gravel and you will see TWRA sign that is Trail 12 trailhead take it up until you reach trail 10 turn left onto trail 10 going north and stay on it until it comes out at a blacktop road that is Stinking creek road, turn right on it go 3.8 miles to Ride Royal Blue Resort. About 30 minutes by trail.

By car get on I-74 go North 3 miles to Exit 141 turn right off exit onto Stinking Creek Road go 4 miles to Ride Royal Blue Resort. about 10-12 minutes by car.

So after more discussion with the wife,I made a reservation at Comfort Inn. So if anyone else has been holding off so they were not the onlyone doing that. I reserved a room so lets caravan if you would like. Also this will make it posible for us to transport fuel and supplies for others in the group.

So how many are going the hotel route?

Looks like the wife likes the idea of her own bath. So i have reservations at he hotel for 7th-10th.

I'm probably going on the 6-7th also. When it gets closer we'll have to get numbers so we can go ride.. Group ride before the group ride haha. I'll be by myself so it will work out good; people going early.

How about a headcount of people staying at the comfort inn? That way we have an idea of how big of a caravan will be headed there in the mornings.

You have to have the trail permit OR the hunting license to ride there, The hunting license is cheaper so that's why you see it pointed out.

Ahhh okay that makes sense. Nobody explained that to us while checking in. There was 3 or 4 people checking in along with us and only 2 desktops so things were a little hectic.

I am leaving the 7th in the AM (Thursday) and staying until Sunday AM.
