So these bolt to existing mounts then are welded into place? And are for the fronts only? Why the milled or textured finish on one side of the plates?

Yes they are bolted and welded !

The mounts in the above pic are for the rear. I also made some for the front (posted a few pages back)

The milled area is so the existing mount will fit into the new mount

I picked up the first set of mounts from the machine shop tonight.I will get them mounted and welded on tomorrow.

I am still waiting for my new shocks to ship , so I will need to wait to take it for a ride until they get hear.

@solrus I ask him to make two sets but for whatever reason , he only made one. he will be making a second set at the beginning of the week. I will get them shipped to you as soon as he finishes them !

Nice job on the relief on the plates! Tidier than using spacers between the shock and mount. CNC mills are great. Was it cut with laser or waterjet?

He was actually going to use a CNC plasma cutter but the material was to thick (.250) for his unit. He ended up cutting the entire thing on the CNC mill !

We are going to be taking them to a shop and have the profile of the mounts cut with a CNC laser cutter and then he will mill the relief in them.This should also cut down the cost of them !

36 years a machinist,couple years on CNC mill,all manual machining these days

Common , cancel them from that seller, I got mine in 3 days, and cheaper also , so not too late to get 429 or 425 HD but cheaper

One more question, please measure the distance between wheel and mount. I'm just not sure if I should be proactive and get 1" spacers.

You need to be proactive , it would be real close without the 1.00" spacers !

It mite work without them and I can remove mine and check it if you want me to !

I bought the Superatv spacers but any of the 3 you posted look good to me..........I would probably go with the quadboss !

It is a NO GO without spacers !!!

These are the flange bolts and flange nuts I bought tonight , you will need 4 of each (purchased at home depot).
You also will need 4 lock washers and 2 1.500" long spacer for the 2 bolts that go in the stock mount !!!
