Had a couple shop beers and came up with a temp fix. Thoughts?

Just went and tested my project again. Its a 2016.
Unplug the Blue connector at the thermostat, key-on. fan did not come on.
"Crankt'ed" it... Fan came on imminently.

If this fails...
I would do the 12v test I mentioned to ensure we have a working fan.

Not sure shy the cranking matters, but maybe it does. That might be worth a try on @TheProvider unit.

I crank’t it as well and no fan. It sure did not like turning over with that sensor unplugged. Lots of angry lights. If it’s getting fuel then that relay should be working just fine IMO. I will hit the phones again tomorrow on this unit. Unfortunately have more time on the phone than hours on the machine at this point.

While your problem looks to be fan related, I would like to mention that there are two bleeders back at the motor, the second one is located lower than the one on the thermostat.

When I did a drain/refill, that second one hissed when opened.

My Pioneer 1000-5 had an issue; one of the fan leads became disconnected and it overheated. After it was re-connected, it was fine. I actually have two 1000-5's and on other one, they needed to adjust the fan to kick it on quicker. We were taking some heavier folks up some pretty steep mountains and It overheated. After the adjustments were made by the dealership, all has been fine.
I love the machines.

I'd go ahead an put the override switch from the club store. Won't have to depend on the fan kicking on early or not.

My 2 cents.....
