That looks great to me. Now if you need to move the weight forward or back, its just a matter of changing the strap lengths.

You could always bolt one of the D-rings here.70d9dbdfb642506ebfa3f0f9f2ac8c20

Not to mention, this setup allows various load centering options...

And it does pull better than all the weight on the tongue.

Thanks for the input, guys!
What size trailer do you have? I position mine like yours is shown with the real wheel over the 2nd tire. I have a 14' tandem with a heavy ass gate. Guessing you have a 16'

Yep... I took in on a test drive down a rough section of road...

I will have to keep an eye on tensioning the straps. (Different than using chains).

@Jshell3 just my 2cents, i put straps through the spokes of my tires and then ratchet strap to anchor points. This allows the Pioneers suspention to obsorbe the road bumps. 0b4af4c43ec4bd0e029bf9aaab59812e

The only thing I can say is make sure your bumpers are clean when you wrap your strap around them.. you don't want something abrasive rubbing your strap or bumper. That's why I used the d-rings on the front and rear. I like metal to metal. But if you're using your straps looped the way you are, it's probably best over the bumpers.
