Yes I did through the three flat bars I just put 6 bolts in it I've grabed it and shook the whole sxs it seams to be solid

Some guys are hesitant to do that, wanting to preserve the rack. I bolted mine through too, if you ever sell your machine, whatever you put on will likely go with it. I've drilled several holes in the frame and rops now, I always spooge a blob of silicone in the hole to help protect it.

I hesitated at first but I'm the same way but for anyone not wanting to drill holes simple U bolts to the tubing would work fine
