P1000 Maintenance Indicator Won't Reset

I did my 1,200 mile service yesterday. Now I cannot get the maintenance indicator to reset. I followed the procedure in the manual but the thing won't reset. It toggles between wrench 1 and wrench 2. It seems I have my choice as to which one will stay illuminated. Any thoughts?

Your on the wrong screen.
You are on the countdown screen to wrench 1 & 2.
Push it to the standard Odo screen and then wrench should not show.
