I hate to admit it, but I haven’t been on the south side of the Salmon. There are so many cool rides on the north side that I never took the time.
Hell, I haven’t even done Orogramde to Dixie, or Dixie to Mackey Bar..

Dixie to MacKay Bar..24.4 Miles, should be an easy jaunt, couple hours. Elk City to MacKay Bar...57.3 miles.

Yea, it's about 58 miles from where I'm thinking base camp would be, to Mackay Bar, via Orogrande. Certainly a doable round trip with a little extra fuel.

Just today I ordered the aluminum hitch mounted cargo carrier for the rear of the teardrop trailer to carry the three NATO cans in. It will be powder coated in Honda red.

Mine are too. It’s cheap there, screw Washington. You’d get your renewal notice by mail the next year, they are cool that way
