I'd be interested in a b-pillar tube for mounting front seat 4 point harnesses.

Might as well make it have three harnesses and a middle head rest!

I like the idea but it looks like the belt tube is 4-6" too low. When I measured, I figured the tube would have to be at least as high as the lower headrest mounting bolt

I wish I had put a little bend in the bar to keep it about 1” further back. But I can put a piece of plexiglass on the back because it’s flat.

Anyway, I’m 5’11” and it fits me good. It’s nice to have the harness wrap around the shoulder so it keeps me from going up and down.

Also the EVO harness is made to wrap over a little bit. Check this video if you don’t know much about the EVO.

That's a really good looking harness.

It’s not bad at all. A friend showed it to me and it was obviously the right one for me.

As for the placement of the bar, it depends on what harness, how you want it to hold you, and how tall you are. My wife is short and my son is six years old. It will be a while before he grows out of it. My brother is 6’3” and it fits him terrible. However, he can let some slack out of the top part and then it’s not too bad.

I’ll be happy to share more info about it if you choose to do something similar. Other info is the head rests are not stock location. You can’t use that as a guide on the placement of the cross bar.

I've been eyeing up the idea. My wife said she'd like to have a harness for riding. I looked at 2 potential options. The green bar just below the head rest and forward of the V bar or the red tube behind the head rests and even with the lower head rest bolt. I think the green would be ok for my wife and I at 5'8" but taller friends would probably prefer the red

You might be happier cutting the stock piece out and building what you want?

I really like how mine turned out. I had a pretty smart feller help me, not completely all my work.

So I threw in some cheap 4 points on the headrest bolt and hated them.. I didn’t like the lack of movement it gave me. I’ve laid mine over more than most and I haven’t minded the stock belts so long as you add the clip to keep them from retracting and squeezing your waist. Just an FYI for anyone considering them. Might want to try a set first.

My wife loves the harnesses i put in. Me on the other hand...something really hairy ill throw on the shoulders bit for the most part i just run the lap belt.

So, am I the only one thinking the stock caliper shield is better than going to an aluminum one? It looks to me like something that deflects and gives a little, then goes back, would offer better protection than something that is ridged and once hit is bent. I’m not a plastic fan... but I’ve learned my lesson with my aluminum skids.
