P1000 Lower Front CV boot Protectors

Hi all, been looking through the threads but can't find anything. There is alot of good products on A-Arm protectors BUT I was wondering where I could find a metal version of the plastic lower CV boot protectors that come stock on my 1000. I have a pair for my 680 Rincon (which are in the same place) but I can't find anything for my 1000. Any ideas?

I have s&s abrication arm guards ant they cover most of the axle but if your talking about the ones that bokt by the caliper i havent seen any metal ones

Thanks knuckledeep, well mabey the metal ones are coming out somewhere, they just provide great protection for those lower cv boots, I am always running over small trees and sticks either on a old trail/road or turning around so it's nice to have that protection there.

A it would be i know his arm guards cover a lot if you find some let me know wonder if you could make the ones for the rincon work on the 1000

Hello, We own a Pioneer 1000 here at our machine shop and are currently building and fabricating different parts for this model. We are developing an aluminum cover that can replace the plastic one that come stock on this. This is something we have grown interest in and if there are anyother things you guys might be looking for just PM me. We make alot of aftermarket parts for the yxz1000 and are expanding to the pioneer.

Most likely these guards are going to be aluminum and annodized different colorss for your liking.

Press in studs? Or bolts?

Look like bolts, any chance you would be willing to either use studs or machine a lead in on the bolts?

These are press in studs, They are dorman studs m12x1.5 same exact size as stock bolts.

Were you looking for bungs for the stock size frame or a little thick walled for more stability? I take it you are looking to build your own frame

What thicknesses are they available in?

Right now we have made 1" and 1 1/2". We could do 2" also but we have installed only those two sizes so far.

Price on a pair shipped? Safe to assume they are sold per axle?

These are sold in a set(2). The clear and black anno are 90$ plus shipping and the color right now are 115$. Cost us quite a bit more to get them colored right now. They are annodized professionally.

But the color anno looks sick and really sticks out. Match it with your current color set up.

RB3 how bout making something to cover the front fender wells just behind the front tires to keep sticks from going thru the the fender wells I have been trying to come up with something I have saw some pictures where sticks have come thru the fender and almost went into the people riding

I would love it if someone made a kit. My home made version looks rough and was time consuming.
