Something I didn't see and want to add for the newer guys. If you are new at this understand if you have been married 40year 15yr will be great 15yr ok but know 10yr will be hard. Real hard at times but its all worth it. I have wanted to quit in the first few bad times once we even did canceling. What I can tell you is as the hard ones pass the great ones come. My point is its worth it and its not easy.
For me its 19 years together and 14years married.

Even though I am old enough to have been married for at least 40 years it just did not work out for me that way. I was married to my first wife and mother of my two kids for 18 years and it just didn't work out. Now I am married to my best friend in the world. We never ever argue and she has always been there for me through thick and thin. She keeps me grounded and is always there. Congrats to all the other ones who have been married so long. It took me a while but I found my "keeper".

I have been married 13 years December of this year and right now it's on cruise control we both work mon-fri have the weekends off to enjoy our hobbies, nothing to argue about I'm very lucky.

Congrats @Smitty335. Definitely not something you hear much in today’s world! I was married 12 before my wife left me for someone else! Been divorced since 2015! Dating in your 40’s is pathetic!

One of my best friends is going thru this now... 34 and 2 girls. A real s*** situation. They had been together 17 years. High school sweet hearts and she f***s it all up for a fling. LAST person you would have thought would do it!

Just be persistent and don't settle for less than what you want, once someone gets over 30 you get what you get. Don't try and change them.

Thanks, I hope to marry again, single life sucks! Especially when you have kids involved. My daughter is 12 and is good but it sucks for me!!
