Finally got around to doing the hood snorkel

Seems simple enough and I think it looks good too.
The laser method has been used by many and seems to work well for finding the center.

Looks good. I used the flashlight on my iphone to find the center to cut the hood, it shined through just fine.

Y'all deserve the credit for ideas on how to do it. But your right. It can be difficult to explain. Lesson learned on hole saw size. As well as getting the solo cup level. Luckily I learned that before making any mistakes.

Would you recommend a 3" hole saw? 3 1/8"? 3 1/4"?

3" was snug and had to open it up with a dremel like the video shows.
