This is just one of the reason Polaris owners like myself will be standing in line waiting for the new P1000 to arrive.

I agree Honda has been running this 6 speed DCT design in the 1300+ cc 145HP Road bikes without issue should do just fine with 1/2 to 2/3 of that HP in a SxS probably had to beef up the clutches due to weight 1400lbs and towing 2K rating of the SxS vs. a 600lbs motorcycle.
