I've looked on ATV trader and FB marketplace, but I'm really only finding 1000-5s and 700-3s

2018 Pioneer 1000 EPS - 3
~375 miles, was used for chores on our property (moving wood, mulch, etc, and snow cleaning driveway)
OEM LED Headlamps
Deluxe wheels/tires
Honda OEM roof
Honda OEM/Warn Winch
SuperATV glass windshield
Honda SXS aux rear lighting
Honda SXS aux LED front lighting
Denali plow set up, with power turn

I don't know if the 1000-3s are less popular than the 1000-5s or if they just sell quick. Hard to determine the right price range. Located in MN.

Ya, really hard to gauge this. Used pricing is still all over the place.
I'm in the same boat trying to price my loaded 2019 1000-5.
Any rust?
Has low miles and a few high $ accessories.
IDK...
maybe $18,000. with a clear OBO mentioned.

Nah. No rust. NADA values were around 18k as well.

I mean I shouldn’t complain. I’m just surprised as I think I’d paid ~$15ish for it prior to adding plow and windshield. Got the wheels as a take off for $250.

I’ll keep poking around. Maybe see what a trade value is for a 4x4 atv to use around property instead.

It’s really more that I’m sick of giving up my garage space to the Pioneer. 😂

Should have sold It 8 months ago. If I was looking now, I wouldn't pay more than 15k for you rig. I bet a dealer wouldn't give you 10k for it now. I could be wrong but I'm almost never wrong. Ask my wife.

I paid $13,500 for my new 2018 1000-5 in 2018. I gave 13k for my new 2018 1000-3 in 2019. Everything is coming back to reality.

Truthfully, I’m ok with things coming back to reality. We got “lucky” with the timing on our Pioneer and a car. We ended up running numbers in early 2022 and got an absurd lease deal on a Polestar based on a stupid high residual. Now those 70k cars are lucky to see a value of $35k. Based on market corrections, Teslas aggressive pricing etc.

I’ll try to find my paperwork, but I think I was right around 13-14 for a 2018 in 2019, as well.

Was considering trading in my 2021 Ford F150 Platinum SuperCrew 5.0L 6.75' 4x4 for a 2023 F350 Super Duty SuperCrew with the 6.7L Powerstroke. I had a 2017 and loved it, and the Mrs wants a toyhauler and we can't haul that with a 1/2 ton.

I've traded in my (purchased) vehicle at least every 2 years since ~2006. I get AZ Plan from my dad (Ford retiree), so by the time I put ~40K miles on it, I trade it in, get at least what I owe on it, and get a new vehicle. I just consider it a "lease" with a higher monthly payment because I drive a lot of miles and leasing a vehicle would not be cost effective for me.
Had two deals worked out, despite the higher trim levels being nearly unobtainable. Walked away from both of them because of the very same reason. Even with absolutely stellar credit, you're looking at ~7% to 9% APR at a variety of lenders. Our credit union is always the best (6.75% was my rate), while Ford Credit could only do 9%.

I pulled up the loan agreement for my current truck, which is well over half paid off (I paid $66K OTD and put a big chunk down).

THIS is why I can't bring myself to trade in my truck today:

I'd take a mean Tweet or three any day to get back to the good old Trump policy days ... ;)

As of today:

Dealer offered $9k on trade. 😂

Private party offered $16k, which feels very fair. Guess we will see if it pans out or flakes.
Pop it up on the buy/sell/I wanna thread and see what bites you get

Most people with a 5 dont use the rear seats all that often and b**** about having to clean the mud and dirt outta them on the rare occasion they wanna use them....just sayin.
And the 3 is the lightest, fastest Pioneer made
It's not about using them all the time. Its about having them IF you need them.

Mud & dirt in bed? Use a bed liner. Less than $100 to eliminate that problem completely.

Then there is the full (stronger) ROPS cage.

Then there is the full roof to keep both passengers and gear dry.

Then there is resale value.

Those are just some of the reasons the 1000-5 is vastly more popular than the 1000-3.

Just sayin.
