People are starting to ride Tanglewood up in Lecanto again without problems from what I understand. We used to ride there years ago and I thought it was the best riding area in most of the state
What's the best staging place to go in at?Try Apalachicola, that's where I was Saturday. The trails are 100x nicer up there, it's worth the drive to not have the chop/washboard.
Apalachicola National Forest
This popular area offers over 100 miles of motorized trails with several small play areas.www.riderplanet-usa.com
That's where I met yall that time when I was visiting my family in Crawfordville wasn't it? Where @JenElio overheated every 15 minutes 😂Try Apalachicola, that's where I was Saturday. The trails are 100x nicer up there, it's worth the drive to not have the chop/washboard.

If we head that way to visit family I'll hit you up ahead of time and maybe we can get the band back together.🤦♂️😂😂😂 Stupid dried up mud!!!! 🙄😂
Yeah I think that's the place. I need to make it up that way again. @Brett002 says he's got a cool spring hopping trail loop he does now.
Sounds good 👍If we head that way to visit family I'll hit you up ahead of time and maybe we can get the band back together.

On the map 371-C Silver lake trail head. What's the best staging place to go in at?
Nice area. Hunted St Vincent Island years ago. Never again. Never seen so many snakes in my life. Got tired of fighting with them and gave up. That and the tics. One guy in our group must have had several hundred on him..... Nomo I didnt check him for them.My wife and I took a vacay to Apalach last year; loved it. Very cool area, definitely gonna go back. Talked about maybe camping in the cargo trailer out on St. George Island next time. Nice campground. We poked in briefly off the coast road (98) into the forest, didn't do much.
ThanksOn the map 371-C Silver lake trail head.

Problem is there's nowhere down south worth riding really, have to go up to Ocala/Osceola areas I think. Unless everyone has access to RR...Think its time to get a group ride for us southern boys
Ocala, Osceola, Appilach, Georgia , Alabama, whateverProblem is there's nowhere down south worth riding really, have to go up to Ocala/Osceola areas I think. Unless everyone has access to RR...
Either way, I'm in 👍
NoMo!
As long as we plan something ahead of time we should be good to attend. Ocala is the closest to us and that's 4-5 hrs away.Ocala, Osceola, Appilach, Georgia , Alabama, whatever
We need to get together and do that again. I will see what Brett's schedule looks like this year.I wouldn't mind a ride up in Perry and surrounding areas like we did with @Average_Joe and @Brett002.
That was 6+ hrs for us but worth it for a good weekend ride.
The only thing I don't like about Osceola is it's wet even when every where else is dry as a desert Osceola will have water.Ocala, Osceola, Appilach, Georgia , Alabama, whatever
Were checking out Durhamtown in a couple weeks. If it's as nice as it looks we need to do a group ride there the cabins are dirt cheap in comparison to RRB, ours sleeps 7 for the 3 nights/4 days were going $450.Ocala, Osceola, Appilach, Georgia , Alabama, whatever
Went there years ago when I was riding dirt bikes . It is a fun place. have not been since it reopened but I know someone who has. He enjoyed it. I would be for it. Maybe some of those mountain boys would join in as it still being closer them. Were checking out Durhamtown in a couple weeks.
