The tank so small...MPG
really not a deal....cause you
gotta PaK fuel anyway.
...20/25 mpg

Yes. The P5's superior at crawling up very steep gnarly trails, descending them as well. I get the most fun and challenges out of my P5 in the first three gears. If it's speed your after, the P5 will be a disappointment. The 26's I installed gave me improved stability, a more cushioned ride, an accurate speedometer and improved aesthetics. I'm closing in on 2,000 miles on mine, packing fuel every ride, yet have never had to add any on the trail. You can literally ride all day and not have to add fuel.

No, besides our resident engineers statement of stress on bearings, then you defeat the purpose and advantage of the 50" ride.

Not necessarily speed I know they aren't fast. We haven't had to worry in the past about bringing extra fuel. There is one run we go on that's just over 100 miles. The p5 wouldn't be alone ever on that trip we would always have the p1k too on that but was hoping it could do that at 35 and make it. For the most part it would be family and friends crusing fairly easy around camp and sounds perfect for that. Occasionally the wife and I would go beat up some rocks. I do wish it had a little more power I'm worried about snow but sounds like it'll do most

Gotcha, I wouldn't want to ride in my P5 at 35 all day, the R's just wouldn't set well with me. Dare I say it, my PR, no problemo. Just take along a couple gallons of fuel with you and give it a go, see if the P5 can sustain 35 all day on a tank and not leave you frazzled to boot.

I don't know CP, just give it a go. I do it for about 10 minutes on the asphalt getting to my NF and am glad to slow it back to my cruising speed. My favorite cruising speed in the P5, flattish terrain, is upper 20's. But the vast majority of my riding day is L, 2 and a bit of 3. I'd want the P7 or the P1K for what you describe.

I know it's not pertinent to this conversation, but in my p1k5 running it at 30-40 mph all day gets me nowhere near 20mpg. Kind if equivalent to running your car at 90mph all day long. I realistically see about 15 mpg. But it's a toy, who gives a crap. I always take fuel because I always have the little ones.
