Not much to report, been taking it easy this week after work. And to be honest she’s a driver and needs nothing mechanically, nice to have it fully ready for duty. Absolutely no issues and drives great.
Tonight I threw a whole bunch of unneeded steel in the donor truck and called my wrecking yard buddy out. Nice to see this pos leave. Was the most beat to death truck I’ve ever seen, almost everything from it had to be rebuilt and fixed. This was the title holder. See ya!! Last of the parts trucks, gunna start cleaning up.

Ya lots the snorkel early last year. Ol girl hasn’t had any love whatsoever in a long time. Pos Honda’s an all. Lmao.
That's got to net you like 14HP, coupled with the missing panels for weight reduction you're probably at damn near a 13 sec 1/4 mile

Got sick of trying to put stuff back on em all the time. That’s why I need a KRX so it really won’t fit and I’ll quit having fun making um.

That picture of ur pioneer w the wolverine, is very similar to myself and family only the wolverine is replaced w a KRX.Theres always a lot of Miller lite and ultra involved.I don’t dare bring up ur bumping game!

Oh I know. If I was somewhere else I’d consider it but here there are just too many areas something larger won’t fit. Pioneer gets busted up enough giving it hell. It’s at the very max. Talon next for me but I’ll have to baby it some, last two x’s both that were out there had fenders ripped off first day even being nice. But I still want one!

I've ripped the fenders off money a couple time, luckily just needed some push rivets

The wife helped clean up a bit today. Stuff for the new truck in one pile, the old 2x4 truck in another pile. Got all the tools put away as well as all the materials. I had stuff scattered around in both trucks, the bus, garage, house, camper van and my car. Was impossible to find something.

Every couple days I’m picking a project and getting it done. Tonight was back door panels. They were beat to s*** being fiberglass and 35 years old. Fixed some cracks, two toned colors, repaired the arm rests and reinstalled.
But not before lubing the window tracks and hardware then using sound deadener (Dynamat for the doors) to the inside of the door and door panel then face of the door as well. Picked the best door handles and window cranks I had.
will change up door panels (cut and reshape the ‘93 front door panels to fit) and add lower carpet trim as well as power windows and door locks later. Wires are already installed.
Also finished trimming and making the aluminum carpet kick panels. They had to be made from a newer 2-door truck as they didn’t exist. Speakers were already cut out and installed prior.

My buddy got his smaller camper so can tow without massive bumper. He’s going hunting this weekend for awhile and bringing his Tacoma. Bought the 30 old pickup loaded heavy and headed directly out after just an oil change.

So you’re saying turn up and send it! Lol. I know they’ll take 1400 degrees for a bit, I do like a gauge and keep under 1250-1300. But I ran mine hard on the last trip, pulled a hill at 80 on our way back passing traffic in 5th gear and it barely hit 1200. Guess it all depends where the screws are turned to.

It amazes me at how low the running rpm’s are on dodge diesels. My new one red lines at 3,200...😳

My old Z-71 gasser was hitting 4,500 all the time pulling the fifth wheel....🙄
