Just letting you know that, that was the most normal ever welcome to the forum that I have ever welcomed to anyone ever on this forum. Freaking nuts! it was really difficult too....I'm gonna need an iron lined safe space now filled with tacks and s***....

A good friend is selling this Ram 350 Cummins, 1991- 12 valve, 5 speed, with new South Bend clutch and brakes. Getrag??? 4x4 1 ton, 8' bed, with 300k for 9-10k. Thoughts?

Long day today, swapped two rear ends. The b**** was doing it in sand. s***!!! Our truck now has a Dana locker and sits 6-1/2 in. taller. That locker was a real b**** to maneuver from truck to truck.
Eventually it’ll be 1 more inch from tires but I think she’s got a good stance, she’s getting to be a big b****. Busy weekend I’m beat.

Well not a whole lot to post but been working hard. Was told the 80’s firewall would direct bolt everything but that was incorrect, so had to cut and weld in a big section from the donor truck. Needed holes for master cyl and wiring plug coming into the cab. Sucks when it was already painted but that’s what I get from listening to someone else. All fixed and all three pedals and ebrake installed, ready to install everything else.

Sold some more stuff today to happy customer so a few more goodies coming soon.

Some. Was worthless yesterday after Friday nights dunes ride with @popeye friends and family lol. Got a bit smammered after the ride I guess.
Today I got wiring pulled from the donor truck, have to extend a portion of it yet. The 4-door cab is now totally ready to accept wiring harness and all accessories from the donor. Also got the new hydro-boost setup in and peddle adjusted, she’s gunna be able to stop. @snuffnwhisky

Well I’ve arrived at what I kinda consider a pain in the ass. Getting the dash with a bunch of added creature comforts into a much older cab with nothing has been a chore. Everything is just slightly different and no wire hangers. No holes for a lot of it. The harness I’m using from the ‘93 was highly molested with cut, chopped and fried wires so three trucks are being used everything is going stock for now right down to the stereo. Got most of it in however the dash has been in and out multiple times and probably a couple more yet to go. I’m getting somewhere though. Just making sure everything goes the right path and is secured properly so no rattles or shorts as well as sealed up good. It’s slow on this end of the build. This is the ‘93 dash so it’s now that VIN as well.

Look ma, I’m still a 360cid 5.9 but not a gasser anymore! Cummins is finally in, along with the new nv4500 and new larger clutch. 🤗

Today wasn’t near as productive as I planned. Trans and carrier bearing cross members were both 2wd and auto. Not only wrong but at wrong angle. The NV4500 sits lower and took me a bit to find the correct pinion angle of 6deg. Got everything laid out, have to go buy some steel and build my own stuff.
Got it all figured out though.
Also have list of fuel and brake line components needed. For the ext week it’ll be getting all that stuff in so really no pics or anything cool, hate this stuff because I’m an impatient person, like stuff that goes fast and you see improvement. Impatient as hell but still focused.
Sold some more spare parts so more goods coming but at a bit of a halt on a few things needed, gotta raise some more cash.
