P1000 Cover for shifter holes

Pull on it. I found a strong steady pull works the best. It doesn't just pop off.

Finally got a free evening too install my shifter boot. Didn't figure I needed before pics, as we all know what they look like. So, I took a couple after pics. Knew too posting on here, so hope this works.

Did you have to take the dash apart to get the boot on? Is it working well?

No you do not need to take the dash apart Pull off the nobs Remove the existing bolts one at a time then put in the studs that are supplied. Before you put the cover on and use the nuts that are supplied to tighten the studs, then the cover use the nuts and washers to secure the cover
