Well my Odessy died ! Purchased 11/17
Going to try and see how well I can do with warranty replacement. (2yrs)
Let's see how it goes.
If not I'm going to try another brand this time.

Did you buy online? I buy all my batteries at Battery Outfitter a local brick and mortar store local and they have always treated me well, personal and business wise. And they build custom batteries for all kinds of stuff, like pipe locating equipment. I took a battery out of our locator to them, the guy says they don't stock that battery and it would be a special order or he could build one for $ 38.00, cheapest I could find online was $ 78.00

Went with the Interstate DCM0035
Had to make a slight modification to the battery box. But hoping this last more than 17 months. If this doesn't work, a full size under the seat is the next choice.

I also installed my Bluesea fuse box. Now to clean up the wiring and get ready for Colorado!

i used a Dremel tool to cut a relief in all 4 corners of the battery compartment. This allows the sides to expand just a little. This allows the slightly larger Intestate battery to be wedged in there. You wont need a hold down strap!

I ended up buying the $55 Mighty Max battery on amazon. Supposed to be an equivalent to the Odyssey battery. One year warranty. I figure I can go through three of these for the price of one Odyssey...

I think the battery slots may be different between year models. I got the DCM0035 and there was no way it was gonna fit upright. Was a good inch too wide. Does fit pretty well on its side. I have a 2016 Deluxe.

AGM’s don’t. From my understanding the glass mat holds the acid, so it is non spillable in any orientation.

Had a new spare for a bike sitting around, thought I'd try it.
Fit great by using the 1/4 " styrofoam packing around and under it to keep it from moving.
It's a workhorse of a battery.

That looks to be the same shape as the odyssey battery. I'd spin it around and put the terminals to the front.

The batteries I bought are: Two Featherweight Lithium Battery, 12V 72WH 360 CCA. You will have to use a dremel tool to nibble off ribs inside battery compartment. I put the two back to back. Over a year and no issues. Both have charged just fine with the True Charger Relay.

What is battery number, WPS Distributor so can get them at wholesale
