I just came up for adoption? Know what you mean, gained several friends after joining this site and attending some rides. Took my Dad with me to the TO last year, I asked him while we where there if he had met some good people, he replied, all of them are great, he had a blast! On the drive home , I asked what do you think about coming back next year, he replied, he was coming anyways. I thank all the great members that made my Dad feel so welcomed, he's getting on up there and I will be bringing him as long as he's able, Thank You Members!

The ricochet have the uhmw add on pieces, I was thinking about it for the P1K5D.

I think that's the set @aprils_fool is looking at too.

Here's the set I'm looking at, UHMW in the center, alum on the A-arms, rocker panels & trailing arms

Don’t buy aluminum... been there done that. It’s a mistake on this machine!

What issues did you have with the aluminum?

I did, still uses self-tappers on the Talon, no bueno

For $50 you can buy a 100 nutserts and the install tool to avoid the self tappers. And you'll still have the tool when you're all done

After you pop the top the bottom comes up pretty quick. Really the polymers slide over rocks way better and don't hold dents to hang up on the next rock.

I was seriously looking at straight uhmw, but the more I look at the Ricochet. The more I like how high the aluminum turns up on the front which would make it pretty easy to tie into and extend up the whole wheel well/firewall area.

After just about getting speared by a stick blowing thru the wheel well this one looks like it would be the easiest to add on a nice clean looking shield for that area.

So are you saying other stuff is gonna get bent up because of the aluminum skids or just the skids is gonna get bent up?

I have an additional crossmember forward of the sub transmission shifter and both engine crossmembers gusseted
