Me: "I think that's a bear!"
Buddy: "It's either a bear or Geo Prizm driving around that meadow!"

Stalked from other side of mountain and shot at 45 feet!

That's an awesome bear! That's on my bucket list.

Now that I got my deer at the taxidermist. Here is pictures of how I found him.

Here are some pics of my latest deer hunt and my hunting camp. My P 1000 Deluxe sure was fun to have along, although little wide for the ATV trails, lots of brush scratches but no damage. Managed to sneak up on a nice white tail with a doe. The rut must have started.

Island deer aren't the biggest so I use a smaller freezer. Harvested this guy 500 m from the house.

I tagged this one last week.
My 700-4 hauled it to the Ridgeline to take it in to have it processed.

Stephens County, south of Graham and just west of PK lake.
Range conditions, improved age and protein feeders in the off season have really paid off this year.
Here is another one we just took.

Vancouver Island elk are big.


This boy was on the ground by 7:30 am this morning; dressed, quartered and hanging in the barn at 2 pm.


He would have been a 5x4 but one side was broken off...

Shot this caribou 3 weeks ago just north of Fairbanks. Got really lucky. I pulled over to pee and the guy with me spotted them while sitting in the truck waiting for me.
