How is the bazooka?im fixing to mount mine this week.

Not bad, bit temperamental with the remote and my Iphone. All and all sounds pretty good.

Just remember there is two on/ off buttons, 1 for lights and other for music. Took me a few minutes and back and forth with manual to figure that out

Correct me if I'm wrong but the lights can't be controlled from the unit, can they?

Not sure, there's a couple buttons on the unit but I haven't played with em yet!

Lol.. I just hooked mine up to a battery to try it out before I installed it.. and I don't see a way to control the light on and off without the remote. I could control the music fine thru my iphone.

Looks like you need the remote around for the lights. I wish it would remember the last light setting used when turned on also. There is at least a button for the aux light pigtail on the unit.

Any more updates on the Bazooka? I'm thinking about getting one. Need to do some tunes, a winch after that and then snorkel. Here's my ride. Got her all cleaned up.

It's not bad, sounds good in the rig but doesn't broadcast out as much as I thought. All in all I'm happy with it. We packed it full of snow the other day (in the cones) and it kept on pumping so go for it I would say. Cheers

Thanks for the info. It's going to be the next upgrade. I was also considering the Wetsounds but the price on the Bazooka is much better for me.

I've been waiting on brackets to come in and parts for electrical.. I should be ready to install this week. I'll let you know my thoughts. Honestly, I probably wouldn't give more than $300 for it just because there are other options when you start getting up there. I bought it when it was $300 on Amazon.

All these things are pretty pricey. I'll have to go with a bar because I chopped my top and there's not alot of room up there for anything else.

Yeah.. it's stupid for what they are! I had the NOAM system in my 500 and for the money I may be hard to beat. But we'all see how this bazooka compares. If I don't like it I'll build a sound bar.
