I just know that Honda management doesn't care.
I was hoping to get one in at my dealer before I have to leave and go to work out of state. Looks like that ain't gonna happen. He's only getting (1) 1000-5d dec 30 and it is a camo. Someone already has a deposit on it. He's supposed to get (3) 1000-3 in. I wish he could trade another dealer like you can with an auto.
Yeah but the only problem is, is the only other dealer in this town I vowed never to buy anything from them again. The other dealers are 1+ hours away and since I used a can am dealer that was 1.5 hours away, taking it to get serviced and getting it back was a pain. You should be able to move your deposit, have you asked them?
I have a bad feeling that it will be January before we got our camo. My dealer seems to agree.I'm told from my dealer, that they receive updated reports from Honda on Mondays, as to the currant shipment dates. As of this past Monday, the Camo's are still holding at all fulfillments by Dec. 30.
Again, it's my thinking that they'll start trickling out before then, with all orders satisfied by Dec. 30.
Or the freaking nightmare may just continue with a new pushback to Jan. 30.....who knows.

The original release date had been Nov. 15.....pushed to the 30th......pushed to Dec.30th. It's more than weather, as I've been told that the camo panels for the 700 as well are backordered. Just wish that Honda could have kept their earlier release announcements. My primary use for my past 700...which I sold based on their release announcement, had been for the hunting season. On Dec. 30th, the season will be more than half way over. Just frustrating to be left hanging.Do you honestly feel that Honda Powersports Management does not care? I would hope that is not the case and remember part of the pushback was weather related. If my machine is only late 2 weeks I can live with that.
I am in the same boat, my season ends January 24th.The original release date had been Nov. 15.....pushed to the 30th......pushed to Dec.30th. When its your money, I think you are entitled to preach a little.I bailed on the local crappy popo dealer posing as a Honda Powerhouse. I'm driving 2 hours to get a real HONDA dealer that won't push popo down my throat when I tell them EXACTLLY WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR!!
*Soapbox, slowly stepping off of it now*
I was looking on UTV trader last night. Some dealers in my area(Indiana, Michigan, Ohio) have the camo models in the showroom just sitting there. I know of one dealership which has had one for at least 2 weeks on Saturday (19th).I called Honda corporate today to see what's going on with camo p1000. She basically told me to keep
Checking with dealer. Took my name and number and said if they get any info she would call me.
